was created by our love for the traditional architecture but also for the breathtaking landscape views that surround both houses.
The property is placed on a 7 hectares plot and during the wet season there's a stream that crosses the property on the lower side of the property making it a magical place.

is not just a place to stay, it is an experience all together, it’s a place where you can find yourself again by disconnecting from the fast world outside. We are a proud network free zone (but there's Wi-Fi).
Team
The fascination for houses has been our daily life exchange since we first met. We can’t avoid it, we are overwhelmed by this passion! The quality of an experience is measured by details and that’s what we aim for, always through the enhancement of the houses’ subtleties. Michael has been a designer all his life so he is the graphic, aesthetic director and new business specialist. I am the one with a professional background linked to project management which means taking care of the project dynamics, logistics and organization. Our profiles complement each other and that’s what makes this team work in harmony. Not to forget our dear Piedade the heart of the houses.
Meanwhile we have also endeavoured in other life challenges embodied
by two little ones who make us proud everyday,
a little boy of 11 and a little girl of 6 years old.

THIS REGION IS KNOWN FOR THE BEACHES AND TO HAVE ONE OF BEST WAVES FOR SURF AND BODYBOARD, FRESH FISH AND NATURE IN IT´S MOST PURE STATE
It´s on the Natural Park of Alentejo Southwest Coast.
Alentejo is in the South of Portugal, it is one of the most untamed regions in the country, it is one which gives us the sense of space. You can see houses, or better called “Montes”, scattered around dry golden plains and rolling hillsides.
The rugged coastline hides beaches for all tastes and the traditional whitewashed villages are all inhabited by proud, melancholic people who valiantly cling to their local crafts. Some of the spots “alentejanos” are busy, especially during the summer, however there are others more relaxing and, even more importantly, more genuine, that’s the case with Saboia, where we are located at. This region allows you to experience a peculiar suspension of real life.
Our “Montes” are located twenty minutes from S. Teotónio, near Zambujeira do Mar and also Odemira, the village with more infrastructures. This is a region known for its beaches, for its surfing waves, for its hiking trails, and also for its great fresh fish. If you prefer rivers, there is also Rio Mira where you can hire some canoes or Barragem de Santa Clara where it is possible to rent some boats. Just follow our suggestions for references.

What a great spot! Located in the countryside but only 35 minutes from the best beaches of Portugal. Millions of stars above you and the sound of nature in the night will stay in our memory. A brand new renovated authentic cottage with so many lovely details. Ana and Michael were great hosts and we are looking to come back soon!
